The Beaver Full Moon gets its name from the North American Algonquin tribe, who’d set their last beaver traps before the winter season, mostly for fur trading, at the river just before it would freeze over. Beavers are best described as hard workers, who won’t rest until their job is complete. By November, these semi-aquatic mammals would have their lodges built, and a supply of food gathered to survive those long, blistering winters.
The Beaver Full Moon is said to be the last full moon, before winter, which should remind us to RELEASE the old year, intentions, or goals, and PREPARE for the new.
Tomorrow, in the early morning of November 8th, the moon will be at its fullest. If you are into crystals, you may even want to perform a ‘full moon bath’. Make sure to save this and add it to your IG stories, on the night of November 7th.
– Love you!
