Summertime is almost over, you guys. You know, I started this post yesterday not really knowing what to say, exactly. Not that it was difficult to write or anything. I remember when I use to blog on a regular when I first started out in 2003. I could sit in front of that computer, for hours, and write without missing a beat. Now, there’s just so much on my mind, I don’t know where to start. Funny enough, that’s probably what kept me from speeding this post along and delivering it when I intended to. Hm, oh well, lol. Who am I kidding? I just wanted my End of Summertime post to be memorable and perfect. So, here it is.
Ok. Let’s just start off by saying that amongst all the craziness that has been happening in the world and in our backyards, my summer was a good one. I could whine about all the bad things that happened, or I can focus on the things that deserved the most recognition. Positivity, it is. I got to spend time with my family, I had the opportunity to swim in the ocean, paddleboard on the river, traveled to Savannah and attended a candle making class, and even went camping… yes, camping.
The weather has been a bit too much to handle and could’ve been better (listen to me, talking as if I’m at a restaurant lmao), but that didn’t stop any of my summertime festivities. I think the highlight of this season was, seeing my family and paddleboarding. Luckily for me, the weather doesn’t seem like it’s getting any cooler any time soon, so that allows for more time in the water.
But now that I’ve experienced what Summer ’21 had to offer, I’m so ready to experience Autumn ’21 🍁 and all it’s glory. I’ve already grabbed a few things from the store, like candles, yarn for knitting, extra mugs for drinking, and some skincare products that I am so excited to introduce to you all. Also, I am excited to announce that sheheartsthat will be reintroducing NEW VLOGS on youtube annnnd the NEW PODCAST coming this Fall! Stay tuned for that because this time around, I’ll be hosting it by myself alongside special featured guests, talking about all things we girls’ love.
